A logbook that remembers what you saw.
7SeasAI records every dive — site, depth, time, conditions, buddies — and lets you tag the marine species you met, so your logbook becomes a record of encounters, not just numbers. It works offline on the boat and syncs when you are back in range.

What it does
-
Logbook
Every dive, fully written down
Site, date and time, maximum depth, bottom time, water temperature, visibility, weather, dive type, entry, tank and gas, suit and weights, buddies, notes — and up to five photos per dive. Metric or imperial, your choice.
-
Species
Tag what you met
A catalogue of 4,000+ marine species with reference photos, common and scientific names, depth range and conservation status. Tag them on a dive and your collection grows, with rarity tiers from common to legendary.
-
Map
5,500+ dive sites, by sea and region
Browse from the whole ocean down to a single site, with depth, type and entry. Your own dives are marked. Missing a site? Add it, with the coordinates where you stand.
-
Buddies
A logbook that happens to be shareable
Add friends, see their dives, tag who you dived with, like and comment. Each dive is private to your friends by default — you decide what goes public. Not a social network with diving attached.
Built for the boat
- Offline first. Log the dive on the rib with no signal; it syncs silently when you are back in range. The catalogue and the map you have opened stay available.
- Readable in the sun, easy in the cabin. Light and dark themes, large targets for wet hands, numbers first.
- Your data stays yours. Hosted in the European Union, never sold, no advertising, no analytics. Delete everything in one tap, from the app or by email.
- Your certifications, properly named. PADI, SSI, CMAS, FFESSM, NAUI, BSAC, SDI, RAID and more — twelve agencies, each with its real levels, plus a reminder for your medical check-up.
Where to get it
Android — closed test, now. 7SeasAI is in Google Play's closed testing before its public release. To join:
- Send us the email of your Google account with the button below.
- You receive an invitation link; accept it and install 7SeasAI from the Play Store.
- Dive, log, tell us what breaks. That is the whole job.
The public Google Play listing opens after the test. iOS follows the Android release.
What comes next
- Snap a fish — the AI names it. A species scanner that reads your dive photos and videos and suggests tags is on the roadmap, after the first release. Suggestions only: the diver stays the authority, nothing is tagged without your say.
- Your dive computer, imported. Depth profiles straight from the computer, so the curve of the dive lives in the log too.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes. There is no advertising and nothing to unlock to keep a complete logbook. If paid extras come one day, the logbook itself stays free.
Does it work without network?
Logging works completely offline, including photos and species tags. Everything you have already opened stays readable. Sync happens on its own when the phone finds a connection.
Which phones?
Android first, through Google Play. An iOS version follows the Android release.
Do I need to be a certified diver?
No. The logbook is for anyone who dives, from a first discovery dive to instructors. You can record your certifications from twelve agencies, but nothing requires one.
Who can see my dives?
By default, only you and the friends you accept. You can make a single dive public, or keep your whole profile private. Details in the privacy policy.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, from Settings, in one tap — or by email. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
Is there an age limit?
You need to be 16 or over to create an account.
